Suits & Salutes Signature Veteran Suit Event at Foxwoods Resort Casino
Friday, November 10, 2023 Save A Suit hosted a celebration of our veterans and their families! Suits & Salutes, our signature suit event series, was hosted in collaboration with Foxwoods Resort Casino.
Veterans were treated to a VIP suiting experience like no other. They were be outfitted with a free suit, professional clothing attire and other accessories. They were also be treated to professional headshots, on-site resources and more!
Military families and supporters were also welcomed to attend to show their support! They were treated to games, entertainment, video games, live dj music, and other activities for the entire family to enjoy.
This event served veterans in the Greater New London and Hartford County regions of Connecticut. The event also attracted veterans from the entire state as well as veterans from Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Can the general public attend too? What if they are not a veteran?
Yes! This event is open to the public! Everyone is welcome to attend and enjoy the event, no registration needed. While only veterans can sign up to get a suit, everyone is welcome to stop by and enjoy entertainment such as music, patio games, video games, and much more! Our goal is to connect the community with various veteran organizations at this event.
Can Veterans and Service Members Sign Up to get A Free Suit?
Yes! All veterans and current service members can attend and get outfitted with a free suit. There are multiple ways to verify your service. Please bring one of the following: your veteran ID card /military ID, a copy of your DD214 or a statement of service. We have suits for both men and women.
The number of suits we will be giving out at this event is limited so please register asap to reserve your spot. If you have served, use the button below to register to receive a free suit at this event. Remember spots are limited so register soon!
Will there be Resources for veterans at this Event?
Yes! Our goal is to connect veterans with organizations and business opportunities at this event. We will be inviting veteran organizations from all over the state to attend this event.
We will also have representatives from local businesses who will be giving career tips and discuss potential career opportunities. If you are a veteran organization or a business that would like to reserve a table at this event, please contact kevin@saveasuit.org
